Prevent Future Oil Spill Disasters: Ban Expansion of Offshore Drilling

Possibly the worst oil spill disaster in U.S. history is unfolding less than a month after President Obama announced his plan to open 167 million acres of East Coast and Alaskan waters to Big Oil. The disaster challenges the safety of offshore drilling and reminds us of the need to move away from our dependency on oil.
